Thinking about upgrading to a new receiver, but which one?

I do record alot and I want something that I will be able to watch another station while recording. Right now, when I am recording, I have to watch that or watch another station on another TV. What exactly is OTA stations? Does that mean local?
I have called Dish and if I wanted the Hopper, I would have to pay $100.00. Is that a good deal?
Right now I have a one Plasma, one LCD and two standard tvs. I probably will be replacing HD, but in the near future.
So you think i should go with a Hopper and two Joeys for 4 tv's? One plasma, one lcd and two standard tv's.
Ok, but I have no antenna, just the antenna from the receiver and the satelite. I do want my local channels.
You would still be able to get your locals through DISH but the OTA, if you can get them easily in your area, can increase your number of tuners and viewing capabilities. I would go with 2 Hoppers/2 Joeys. This would give you an active tuner for live tv on all four, with two for recording when you are not using PTAT.
For 4 TV's I would suggest 2 Hoppers/2 Joeys, I am not sure what you will end up paying. I was a new sub and went with 2 Hoppers/3 Joeys, and I am happy with that setup. As for $100, that isn't too bad but I do not know what a 2 Hoppers setup will cost you.
