This channel just went on the air this morning. Has anyone seen it in the clear anywhere. It runs mostly movies. both old and new. This is the new MGM channel. Of the few classic series it has it is running the original Outer Limits, the Patty Duke Show, and Mr Ed. Dennis

It on Cband, dont know what location. There are only a few stations that do get it.. WCIU in chicago does and I get it via OTA. Working to see if we could get a location with a wink and a nod from someone in the know. But I dont see it happening.

It's not a publically published frequency, so current forum rules prevent posting the details right now.

Still not on the air in Los Angeles
Seems to be lit up in Chicago
No word from Milwaukee, yet

Just curious. Not asking for any location information. But is any of the Metv channels out of chicago and Milwaukee on Cband in the clear anywhere? Dennis

That figures. They are probably the best classic tv channels out there. You would think Directv or Dish would put them on a national feed. But the day of the superstations appear to be over. Dennis

Those stations (me & me too) are local affiliates so they fall under the same rules as any other affiliate of a network. They can be put on but only in the local area

me tv is channel 23 (WWME-LP)
me too is channel 48 (WMEU-CA)
both are subchannels on WCIU (26) in Chicago

in Milwaukee its on WBME 49 (full powered station)

all I know about the channel is from the FCC app - delivered on C-band between 72W and 139W.

I'm getting ready to do my bi-monthly complete c-band scan in the next few days so I may come across it. If I had to guess, it wouldn't surprise me to find it on AMC-3, G3C, G28, or G25/G19 since that's where a lot of other digital multicast channels reside and where stations who are part of the network probably already have a dish pointed.

update: Los Angeles delayed

Just had a phone conversation with Ms Unpronounceable in the engineering department at KDOC 56, serving Anaheim and L.A. California.
She said they are "waiting for equipment", and "should be on the air next week".
I asked if the dish was coming and got a "yes", but wouldn't bet that's the whole story.

They're located maybe 40 minutes away.
If gas were not going to skyrocket tomorrow (after the election), I might take a drive by and harass them in person. :D
Would be nice to see if they're putting in a receiver that's capable of going scrambled...

Well, that's the story for all us BUDless LA viewers. :(

I tuned to my OTA "This TV" last night. It was airing the NBC and Universal Sports Network programming. My DTVPal did not give any program info EPG, only the station ID. Perhaps "This TV Network" isn't quite up and running yet here.

I'm curious if it will have multiple feeds like RTN does. That would be sweet.
