Hi Magic Static,
Thanks for the reply.
Never have understood the reason for the musical chair game they play.

In that big thread I wrote that it was probably coverage

Weigel probably decided to move to 101W for more of a centralized location so affiliates have an easier time of grabbing it. Checking as example Both Anchorage and Honolulu have a affiliation with MeTV and Thistv.
87W was a 9 degree elevation in HI and a 4 elevation in Anchorage
101W is a 22 elevation in HI and a 10 in Anchorage (hey every little bit helps)

Also the west coast feeds too it would be easier to grab 101 than 87.

Don't think I ever added a transponder manually.
How would I do it for "THIS" at 3953 V2734 101.
Or tell me where to go to read up on it Please.

We might be able to do that, but you need to tell us what you are adding it to, receiver model/name?

Hi Magic Static,
I am using an Openbox s9.
Original software.
Anything else you might need just ask.
Thanks

Click on menu, then click on the sat icon. then click on tp list you will see the green add tp add button down at the bottom. click on that and put in the number of tp freq, sr and h or v after you have these set, click save. now click on the blue search bottom it will scan the channel for you. hope this helps. Hi Magic Static,

First, make sure you're on the correct Satellite by pressing the "OK" button and scrolling right or left until AMC4 shows.
Then:
1) Menu
2) Scroll down to "Installation", Press "OK"
3)Scroll down to "Transponder List", Press "OK"
4)On the remote, Press the "green" button to bring up "Add TP"
5)On the remote, press in the number you want, in this case, "3953", then scroll down to highlight "Symbol Rate"
6) Type in the number you want, in this case, "2734" then scroll down to "Polarity" and highlight "V"
6) Highlight "Save" and press "OK"
7)Press the "Blue" button to scan.
I use my 922 to adjust satellite position & skew. Once I'm on the correct satellite, I guess at the skew when scanning by placing my 922 on channel 1 . If I get nothing, then I change my 922 to channel 2 to change polarity and try again.

Thanks guys for helping.
Went on Lyngsat and AMC4 is at 67W, 101 is AMC2. Confused.
Lyngsat also says it's DVB-S whatever that means. But the colors
indicate that it is in the clear.
I did as you directed and found nothing.
Sure am going to miss "THIS".

Mmm.
Now I'm confused.
I just did a search myself and came up with nothing.
But,
MeTV is on Anik F3......(E1 if you're using a 922 for moving the dish ) (Old Maps)
3920
18447
H

satellite names change alot....so in your list whatever satellite says 101W is where you would enter the transponder info

Not trying to beat a dead horse but I sure miss "This TV".
I tried what NotTv suggested and am getting nothing.
I'm on the East coast in Florida. Is it possible that the footprint
for THIS TV does not reach here? I recently scanned 101 and there
doesn't seem to be much on it.
I am using the Openbox S9 with the original software.
Everything else is working fine.
I noticed another gentleman posted that he was getting This TV
on an S9 which I assume is the same box I have. Wonder where
he is located?

Do you have the channels that scan in as LORAC 1 thru LORAC 4? If so, that is 101W. Blind scan there and METv & THIS should appear.

Thank you for responding Fat Air.
When I scan I can get the LORAC channels but not METv or This.
Puzzling.
