The cable guy will still have to climb the pole to activate....beware of hidden costs. I tried the TWC app on Roku and TWC still charged about $9.00 a month for a cable box..what cable box my Roku was my cable box...24 hours later I had TWC turn it off. Also TWC was $20.00 higher per per than dish. I'm sure TWC will make money off you using the XBOX somehow.

Here is a listing of what is on my cable bill

TW Cable Promo 29.99 <---- This is for standard cable service
TW Cable Promo 74.99 <----- This is my Internet 50/5 service
Cable Card 2.50
Modem Fee 5.99 <---- I know, I need to buy my own modem, just have not done it yet.

That is it except for Taxes and Fees

I have a Tivo, that is the Cable card fee, A ROKU, and 2 Xbox 360s all with the TWC app, I am not charged any kind of fee for the use of these three xtra things at all.

My bill is like 120 a month now.

Not sure what is happening with some people and the charges for other things, but I know I am not being charged for them.

My bill before when I had dish and cable internet was around 250 a month, I must say, I am making due nicely with what I have now.
