Can't wait to get my hands on the repair procedure for the misbuilt ASC1s. Almost as good as getting a "Heath Kit" for hobby fun
I've got four of them to practice on

Old cell phones are fun to practice on... Lots of teeny SM parts to unsolder and solder back in the wrong place...

Wonder if Heathkit was still in business we would be building micro kilowatt amplifiers... like a miniturized SB220... with miniture Eimac 3-500Z tubes...

Actually HeathKit is making a come back. I'm on their mailing list. They have been soliciting ideas for kits.
