It's being beta tested, but I don't believe it's generally available to anyone at this point.

I talked to my P10 rep this morning about this, and acording to them we will have this tech by the first of the year '08 for mpeg4 dvr's.

In some respects SWM is better than DISHPro in the you can supply numerous compatible tuners with a single cable. The SWM5 can run five FTM tuners and the SWM8 can run eight off of a single cable. For more than a couple of legacy tuners, you'll need a conventional multiswitch too.

The second benefit of the SWM is that you can diplex on it for incoming OTA or outgoing backfeeds.

Finally, SWM doesn't require a BBC.
