UNIDEN UST7700at Positioner

Hi I Am Looking For A Uniden UST7700at Positioner SCHEMATIC.Mine Has A Problem("Lock") Position Stays On Will Not Shut Off When
Lock Button Pressed. I Have Tested The Lock Tac Switch And It Is OK
ANY Help Would Be appreciated.

Hi CFHAM,

One of the suggestions was to take the cover off and check the capacitors. They tend to dry up over time. They may look OK but the electrolyte inside dries up and the capacity goes down. It's a slow process and eventually the circuit quits.

I've also been looking for information on these units. I was given 2 of them today for a project. Do you have a user's manual for your unit? I can't even find that on the net.

I have the block diagram and schematic for the 7700, I tried to attach them to this response but had no luck, I followed the directions but it wouldn't upload, if you want to send me your email I will send them to you I also have 2 of the 7700 units setting on a shelf waiting to be thrown out,

according to the UST 9900 owners manual, push and hold the lock button for 4 seconds or more to turn the lock off, I believe the 7700 is the same
