Am trying to figure out how the STB actuates the local oscillator from low to high using the 22KHz signal - when the 22Khz is off, is the LNB switched to the low e.g. 9750 LO?

Most signal meters, even the cheap ones have an LED that tells you when 22KHz is on but never could figure out which LO it is controlling in the universal LNB.

Thanks.

Thanks catamount. On 34.5W there are a few FTA channels that require a universal. Mostly French language, for the Caribbean. A ton of scrambled channels too.
