Digiblur, Scott or JohnH,
Do any of you have a current PDF (inclusive of all the recent changes) of the location of all channels. I know Digiblur put this out for dish a while back and one for BEV recently, I was looking to see a current one possibly if any of you guys have it.

I am just wondering when in the next two weeks they are going to put up the rest of the local markets in HD. I live in Birmingham Alabama and Direct TV already has our market in HD. I stuck with Dish and Bought a 622 anyway because When they were introduced the 622 Dish said they would have 50 Local markets up in HD by years end and Birmingham is about 40 in Market size so I figured I was in good shape. I think Dish has only got 28 Markets up in HD so they have to do another 22 markets in the next two weeks.

"Move" and call it done.

Move where?
For now, move to New York City or Atlanta or Denver. Of course Dish might start asking for "proof" of where you live, i.e. an electric bill with the "new" address on it, in the future to defeat so-called "movers". Dish can play ignorant and take the customer's word 100% and provide them their 'local' networks or Dish can play it extra safe to cover their butts.

I would think Dish is going to start weeding out "movers" with just such a mechanism as you're suggesting if the service and billing address do not match.

One can suggest that people have bills and such sent to a PO Box instead of their home address but I can see a point where Dish will say "a bill from the service address"

I can have my electric bill mailed to a PO Box if I want, but that bill will still have a 'service address' listed on it. Other places ask for "proof of residence" and the mailing address is irrelevant and they don't care where it gets mailed to.

On line billing

What about those that get their bills emailed to them? How can they verify an address for those. I would always be very possible to make up a bill from a "utility company".

And we all know how much they love to push E-billing. They talk about it on almost every chat. :D
