ok great thats what i thought
cause on some of them usals is only getting close not getting a very good signal

but it also leave me to suspect that i'm still slightly out of alignment

well i will keep at it ) this is fun but its taking alot of time lol lol

well i have a intermitting problem
sometimes it hits a sat and sometimes it doesn't
lol

so far i'm chauking it up to being a newbie.
this motor is nothing like the old von Weise out on my c-band dish
so its taking a bit of learning for me to get this thing right
but its still finding channels so that a good thing ;o)

Some receivers do not take well to mixing DiSEqC 1.2 and USALS. If your motor is tracking properly, most of the satellites will be peaked with USALS. Often a USALS satellite's indexed orbital slot can be offset to correct for one or two satellite positions (I.E. 97w becomes 96.9W, etc.)

I find that satellites at the far ends of your arc MUST be stored using DiSEqC 1.2, sometimes the dish will not even move with USALS to these extreme east and west satellites!

(Noticed this again today at a service call)

well i don't know
it only goes from t6-amc with any consistancy
after that (going west) nothing
now going east from T6 its weird i find channels but some are listed at lyngsat

another thing i noticed is the coolsat doesn't list IA8 but found that one @ coolsat says its nimiq 1

amc3 shows a couple of chanels but not sure its actually amc 3 ( one channel says its " *** news now" which lyngsat says is IA8 but these two were scan a couple hours apart so i actually thing they are infact IA8

now i find some more channels and will post them if its ok in a few minutes

ok I don't understand. When I put on Usuals G- 10 I get 30-35% quality. When i switch to 1.2 and move just a little to the west i get 50-60% i store it but when goto another satalite it wont go back to g-10 ubless i switch back to usuals.. am I doing something wrong?

I had this same problem until I moved the DisEq switch from before the motor to between the motor and the lnb. Locks in everytime now.

You may wanna try using Mike Kohl's list instead of LyngSat.. It's easier to use and more up to date..

hmm i have my switch before the motor. you mean it works after the motor? let me see. i have the disc switch after the motor. ok let me think i have the lnb connected to the moter then to the disq switch. wow confusing. Is that right?
