Yeah, I keep forgettin' that. I thought you were going C Band?

Was all planned to move to a house that had PLENTY of space….then the job was delayed…and delayed…..and delayed…and then finally non existent so I didnt move to Duluth.

So I’m still at the townhouse with no way possible of putting a C-band up

Very temped to put the thing at the lake house…but have to get past the DAF (Dad acceptance factor) :D

I have the same problem with the NAF and WAF (Neighbor and Wife, respectively). I figure that if one doesn't kill me, the other one will resort to sabotage. I will consider it a small victory that I got to put the 36" on the porch roof and use that to hunt for analog signals.

To test my understanding:

Is it true that there are both analog Ku band receivers as well as analog C band receivers? Or is it the case that there is simply an analog receiver that can pick up whichever signal that the LNBF can grab? Excuse my ignorance. I'm still learning.

Boy, am I glad you guys love this stuff. I'd be more in the dark than I already am without you folks.

Cheers!
