Using BenM for MMS on iPhone

I have Tethering and MMS on my iPhone -- and Yes, I'm on AT&T - Aaron Krill

I agree with DetFan. The hack will probably enable MMS on your phone, but the bigger trick is getting the AT&T system to see your device as something other than an iPhone and allowing those messages through. If your account is not setup as an iPhone, it will also break the visual voice mail.

I too hate the current implementation. On top of the difficult nature of retrieving the message, the image is usually restricted to a size no greater than an avator.

Thanks guys. This involves way too many steps and may lead to potential problems. I will just have to put up with the password thing for the 2 times a month someone sends me a MMS text.

It is rediculous. The best solution would be for ATT to text you a link with the login and password imbedded in the link. That way you could just tap the link in the message and be good to go. But, NO they want to sell you this service for extra $$.
