Using Dish Model VIP722K in two locations

I want to use my Dish Receiver model VIP 722K in two locations. Currently it is receiving signals from Satellites 61.5 & 72.7 using a DP Plus Antenna with two Digital HD LNBFs. I have a temporary location where I want to use a previously installed Dish 500 antenna, receiving signals from Satellites 110 & 119. Will the receiver requre any special set-up to work at the temporary location? I realize it will not support HD viewing using the Dish 500 antenna.

You just need to do a check switch at each location as you fire them up.

If you are staying at the second location, you may want to look into buying a dish like the one at your home in order to receive HD at both locations.

or use your existing 500 dish to pick up 61.5 and 72.7. not the most ideal way to go, but it does work.

Dependig on distance between those two locations, specificaly if 2nd is out of state, you may not get your locals.

On WA you will need 129 to get HD programming. So you really need another dish is the 2nd location.

Depends on how good your internet connection is at the second location.

Also highly depends on the UPLOAD speed at the main location. It's probably more common to have a slow UPLOAD speed than a slow download speed.
