Not sure what I might have done but every time I push a button on my Vbox II remote it displays "Loc" which I assume means lock. I can still manually move dish directly from Vbox but how do I remove the remote lock? Holding down the lock button on the remote does return the display to the dish position but the next button push goes right back to the "Loc" on the display.

No secret. To lock "Loc" the controls press the lock key, and then press the enter key right after it within a couple seconds. To unlock do it again.
