So, games every Saturday. That's good. Now, will they add some sort of pre-game/post-game/scoreboard show to the mix on Saturdays? It would be nice to have an alternative to ESPN for national coverage.

Boy I feel like a jackass... I saw this thread title and thought, "Oh... Versus is going to start broadcasting Canadian Football??"

lol.....too fuuny, the one thing I do remember from Versus football last year was USC/Stanford!

I didn't watch any games on Versus last year. How are they? Do they have their own team of announcers or do they just pick up local feeds?

If I remember they have there own team, but production was not that great

They had three separate crews last year depending on the conference being covered.

Big 12: Ron Thulin (PxP), Kelly Stouffer (CA)
PAC-10: Ted Robinson (PxP), Kelly Stouffer (CA)
MWC: Joe Beninnati (PxP), Glenn Parker (CA)

Pretty sure Thulin worked Stanford-USC instead of Robinson. Lewis Johnson worked sidelines on most Big 12 & PAC-10 games, Tim Neverett worked them on the MWC games.

Don't forget Oregon State beating then-#2 Cal in Berkeley, a 2-win UNLV team almost beating Wisconsin, and Nebraska scoring 73 points on Kansas State a week after giving up 76 to Kansas.
