does the viewsat platinum support blind scan?

also, i was told that it searches hotbird, hispasat, etc in 2 mins which sounds impossible to me...is this true?

not that I'm aware of. I know it can do a satellite scan, which is different than blind scan

each satellite is different, but if it doesnt have a blind scan, its irrelevant how long it takes because it isnt finding any new frequencies

yep, i know how we love our blind scan but this guy is adamant that it can do a normal sat scan in 2 mins! so, he's a liar!

it may be able to do a satellite scan in 2 minutes...if they had maybe 4 transponders logged into it

Heck, my KUSat can scan satellites in under 2 minutes...but again they have maybe 4 or 5 TP"s in it
