VIP OTA tuner module improvement?

I let my download software, then installed the module and it did not pick up. I then took it out, rebooted, shut back down, reinstalled, then booted back up and it worked. Install is a little buggy.

I'm also ~40 miles from the transmitters. The MT2 seems to do as well as the 622 did as far as signal strength, but it doesn't handle multipath as well as all my other ATSC tuners, including the 622.

Hopefully they can tweek it to work better soon.

My 722k w/MT2 is working fine. It gets the 2 channels that are gettable with an indoor antenna and the signal strengths are very good on those channels. Working from memory from a year and a half ago with my 622, it seems the signals are nearly the same.

To get the others would require a much bigger outdoor antenna with rotor and amp and then only get 1 or two stations at a time depending on which way it is pointing.
