vip722 guide issue being stuck a day ahead

Its a new bug that started on the 8th. By hitting guide the guide will be a day ahead and jump ahead a full day each time you push it. It is being caused by bad batteries or batteries in wrong.

Hi teovin, I did check and we are not getting any other reports regarding this issue, so it may just be your system. I would recommend for you to reset the receiver, unplug for 10 seconds and let it reboot. I would also take the batteries out of the remote and press the power button a few times till nothing lights up and then replace the batteries. If this doesn't resolve your issue, please let us know.

Your Yellow "Skip Forward" button on your remote is probably stuck down. If you are in Guide Mode, and hit that button, it skips forward 24 hours at a time. So, it only makes sense that button is probably stuck down, or shorted out due to a liquid being spilled into the remote.

I went on a TC the other day after the customer was sent a replacement receiver and it did the same thing, turns out they had spilled something on the remote. I swapped out the remote and all is good.
