Weather Channel

I have a commercial account with the Weather Channel. I'll get it until my contract runs out. Unfortunately it's encrypted, I'm not sure why. I personally don't see the point of encrypting most channels, as they make their money with advertising revenue. If it's based on ratings and how many viewers see it, you'd want more viewers to generate revenue. This is how it's done in the US. Why they encrypted channels like that I'll never know.

They encrypt channels for profit since they know they can generate more revenue by selling it. Paying for a channel is one thing but when they spend 50% of there day with infomercials on (most cable channels) plus regular commercials and now advertising crap all over the screen during the show why should we have to pay for all that crap? They should be glad someone is even watching anymore.

I was flipping around on AMC9 last night and got it. Watched a very interesting feature about smog, the 1948 Donora PA disaster. I believe it was one of the MUX stations.
