hi people i am new in this i was told to come on this site for my dish well lets see

Just signed up. Among other things, I'm an RV'er and I am getting ready to switch to satellite for that reason. Hoping to get some good insight here to help me decide whether to go with Dish or Direct. Otherwise, I'm 66 and retired for 6 years now. Other interests include ham radio, hiking, stocks and military aircraft to name just a few. I have lots of interests! Located in beautiful Albany, Oregon.

Hi Everybody!

I've been a lurker here for a couple of years now. I have a Pansat 3500 with the factory bin and a Primestar dish I've been using for a long time. I'm currently mainly watching Galaxy 18 but plan on getting a motor and a bigger dish. Anyway, this is a lot of fun for me and I'll be seeing you guys around.

Hello all,
Guess i could say fate brought me here, actually it was a power surge that damaged my sat. receiver. Anyway, I'm retired, ham operator, alternative news junkie[G-19] and enjoy others opinions.........even if I'm right [grin].
Seriously, this looks like a nice community and I hope I can contribute to it.
