What free VOD is there?

The Verizon website says there is over 1000 VOD choices, including shows for kids, but it is not real specific. I don't subscribe to the movie channels. Can someone give examples of free VOD choices? What kid's VOD is there? Is CBS available yet? I can see using this instead of the DVR for some shows. The possibilities sound great, but what is the current reality?

i don't think any of the major networks are on vod yet, i could be wrong. they have free shows for kids from nick, cartoon, and a few others. my kid really likes vod. not sure what shows they have. there is alot of other stuff from cable networks like food tv, hdtv, diy, and many others. if i can remember, i will post some pictures later today once you get inside the vod menu.

you would be amazed on the amount of movies they have available. i don't ever plan on ordering one, but there are a ton.
