What happened to G9 (in the past)? Was it moved?

Unless I am mistaken, I believe that G9 moved, or was replaced or something. I have two charts from NPS, one from several years ago and another newer one in which the position of G9 moved from 123degrees to 127degrees. Is this just a renaming? Or did they replace dead sats and swap their positions, or what happened here?
