This would be a great match. Shaw a very large cable/isp and satellite company in canada is perfect for voom. There satellite company, starchoice uses same set-top receivers as voom and starchoice. It would give shaw a chance to tap into the us market and spread the savings over two satellite companys. Another possible idea is with anik f2 launching this summer for starchoice could also give some transponders to voom which needs it to expand channel line-up, it's the largest bird with the most transponders on it in history. It would be a good time to snap up voom because of low sub's on it which would lower it's value for the time being.

Why would it be good for us that a Canadian company bought an American company? That is rediculous, IMO.
