Brutus, a Beagle-Jack Russell mix we adopted in 2005 and Heedong (I call him Dingdong), a Korean Beagle we adopted this Summer after my wife's 16-year old Border Collie passed-away.

I LOVE GSD's! We haven't had one in a while....may have to do that in our next dog opening.

I cannot believe how easy they are to train. If you work with them for only 2 or 3 days on something they have it down. I have had labs also and the are great dogs also but they destroy everything that gets near them.

I got this email from a friend of mine, and I thought it fit this thread perfectly.

American Eskimoe (picture from wikipedia)
God.. my ex gf had one of those. Everytime someone came through the door it acted like you were an intruder. Then of course you pet it and it would act like you were it's best friend. Then it runs off barking like crazy like you were an intruder again. Is that a common thing or did my ex's dog just have a horrible case of the "stupids?"

Collie/Retriever mix named Cooper. Great with the kids.

This is him at 4 months (he's 2 now):

American Bull Terrier (aka "pit") mixed with something unidentifiable. She's a woos in most respects. For the most part she only barks at me, tho' she's supposed to be our security system! I'd attach a photo but alas I can't find my camera of late - another endearing trait of hers...!
