Scrambled 1 egg in bowl w/cottage and sharp cheddar cheese, topped w/ sausage patty (double sized), fresh hash brown (gold potato)and 1 egg over easy with pico de gallo on top... Milk

Fresh made sausage gravy over a KFC biscuit, a fried and a scrambled egg with a strip of bacon... OJ

This is sort of bitter sweet for me. The sweet is that they made me an excellent breakfast for me as usual. Corned beef hash, home fried potatoes, eggs, toast and a small side of green chile with coffee. So your asking yourself, whats the "bitter." Well I was talking to the owner, Sara who I've known for years. And she told me that the building is up for sale, not the business and she is calling it quits. This is one of my favorite diners and it's going away. There is a bit of historic significance to the closure too. Several scenes from "Breaking Bad" and "Better Call Saul" were filmed here. There aren't many old school diners like this left around here anymore.

That happened to a good diner in Midland 10 years ago. Landlord tried to jack them on a rent increase, just a nuts HIGH increase. The diner owner just went out of business instead. Building has been completely vacant ever since!

Oh, and my wife made me a breakfast burrito this morning, with bacon, scrambled eggs, and cheese.

We've lost several of our favorite places in the last few years.

I was going to order biscuits and gravy. But then I saw this. Country spuds topped with bacon, ham, sausage, cheddar jack cheese, green chile cream gravy, and topped with two eggs.
