Not quite. Green chile stew. With an uncommon ingredient, beans. I always add beans when I'm a little short on meat protein.

Biscochitos! I have an aquantance who lived in Taos for many years. She made some of them for me a few Christmases back. I loved them! I have to watch my sugar or I would be eating them right now.

Yeah, they aren't the most healthy. Especially when you consider that the best ones are made with lard.

The house smells fantastic. Ham, bacon, Anasazi beans, hatch green Chilies, bell peppers, onions, jalapenos and fresh minced garlic in the crock pot. Currently making batter for cornbread muffins.

Christmas over at my son's house, with a nice steak dinner and all the fixings. Get to see the 3 grandkids, and load them up with presents...
