What's for dinner ?

When I come to the dacha in winter, I need to heat the stove. This is how I make pancakes, they turn out very tasty, and boiled pork, lightly stewed in sauce. And also home-made moonshine, slightly colored with viburnum syrup. And the quality is much better than Scotch whiskey.

Cut up a whole chicken. Simple salt and pepper seasoning. Half will be getting Stanley's Famous Clucker Sauce. The other half plain. Royal Oak lump charcoal in my old school Weber kettle grill set-up for indirect heat. Baked spuds with coarse salt wrapped in foil and mixed vegetables. Local crafted IPA.

Charcoal grilled chicken kabobs, potato salad, Cole slaw and leftover baked beans. Swami's IPA from Pizza Port Brewing in San Diego.

PS: I'm glad I wasn't in San Diego today. I hear they had a little shake, rattle and roll to the tune of 6.7 magnitude.
