Whats the difference between corned beef and pastrami?

I honestly don't have a clue. I think with pastrami you basically just take a corned beef and smoke it, but I'm not sure...
 
You're right. Pastrami is smoked Corned Beef.

Of course Corned Beef is actually a brined brisket, so there are multiple steps to turn the original brisket into a Pastrami.
