I notice that there are fewer people on the forum lately and fewer posts. I guess that since there is not much news in the industry, peeps have lost interest. Dish needs to add some HD channels or something to spice things up.

Ok, I'll generate some excitement. When am I going to see the fruits of my E16 TID to TP/SP mapping legwork? ;) :D

But the uplink reports still show "Unknown TID"...and so does "The List" ?

Fox is switching speed to "fox sports 1'..the forums will pop when dish refuses to add it .....or fox refuses dish access due to the Hopper controversy (wink wink)

February and march seem to be months that people are going through the motions, especially if you live in a part of the country that still has winter/blah weather. Hopefully with better weather will come new news of some sort!

I have never seen so much secrecy on a SAT, about 100 days after launch and nothing. It's getting old after a while. Echo 15 was supposed to move out of the way to 45W but I have nothing to say because of so much secrecy. DISH better get their act together, specially after a big jump in cost of packages specially here in Puerto Rico. 61.5 slot must be haunted because it has always been a headache, huge signal and nothing added.

For many, locals are their main concern but for us here is getting what we pay for. No SCI HD, EPIX HD, just two HBO, CI, Universal HD and on and on. Just sick and tired of this BS. Between new technologies, missing HD for us and the economy could make DISH a thing of the past. 14 million subs stuck forever could be going the other direction, DOWN.

How do I justify paying 227.00 a month with the new increase and nothing. People can only take so much for so looooong.

Well...can't imagine Dish has any need to generate forum traffic; no profit margin in that :D

Here are some topics for you all to discuss then. What's going on with ESPNU and the Disney channels in HD? Why A La Carte is better. When will Dish get Fearnet? How soon is "Soon?"

I believe we are seeing the loss of interest in TV. The hours of viewership are declining every year since the turn of the century. Mobil phone and internet connect time is increasing every year. The highly valued 18-49 group is not TV folk. As the advertisers see the shift they will move more of their advertising dollars to the internet where they can target their audience better. This is exactly what Charlie was telling the networks . They are antiquated in their ads and need to target their audience better. How many kids want to see Viagra and Cialis ads! See http://www.naturalnews.com/037967_TV_viewers_decline_television_programming.html and http://www.infowars.com/tv-viewers-...aken-to-the-idiocy-of-television-programming/ .
