Which DVRs Does

Does DTV advertise on there web site. I see two kinds one with Tivo for HD and non HD. I am interested in buying one for HD and one for Non Hd. which models should I be looking at to Buy. I see all these model numbers R10Etc . Can some one just calrify this for me. Thanks. My promo is up at comcrap I had used there DVRs for two monts not bad but when I went to return my stuff today the clerk took my DVRs and long tossed them into a mail bin waiting in the other room. Whoever gets those receivers are in for a real mess now. Any way thanks.

The HD Tivo Unit: Is the HR10-250
The SD Tivo Unit: Is the R10 (the latest-one )

DirecTv is soon to release a new NON-Tivo SD-DVR solution (probably by the end of the month)... That is a model R15

Also probably by years end, they will have 1 if not 2 new HD DVR options.
The NDS Powerd HD-DVR (no model number yet) or the HMC (Home Media Center). However for the HD ones, there is little information.

BUT... for the HD, I highly recommend you do some more research to make an informed decision. DirecTV is soon to add MPEG-4 encoded programming to their lineup, which the HR10-250 (the only HD-DVR right now), can not work with.

Since some new non-TiVo powered deviced are on the horizon, I figured I need to start to find a 2nd home...

And I could not concur any more strongly with Neutron with the recommendation of purchasing from Robert at ValueElectronics.com
