All,
I was trying to set up my D* 3 LNB dish tonight and ran into some issues someone else may have seen.

I was able to get a signal in the high 90's immediately on 101. I then switched to 119 as the installation manual said. I tried the transponders it said to use (23, 25, 29 and 31) and got 0 signal on them. I discovered that I was getting about 50 on transponder 30, though. I checked 110 and was able to get around a 70 on it. Only once was I able to get a signal on any of the suggested transponders on 119 (that was on 31).

It seems odd to me to get moderate signals on some transponders on 119 and no signal on others. I know some transponders may be off, but that many? Is it common to see that large a delta between transponders on the same satellite?

I am in the Atlanta, GA area and using the D10 receiver for the tests. Anyone else in this area care to share what signal strengths they are seeing?
