which unit is better? China made 922 or india made 922?

I am on receiver number 2 and it is starting to have programs go to a black screen and tonite the sound went out until I rebooted it.

I have a friend with an 922 made in india with no problems at all. The two that I have had are made in china.

Does anyone know of any issues? or if one is better than another?

I had one that was made in in India and the hard drive failed in it. The new one they sent out was made in India too.

That is where it was assembled. The boards, hard drives, etc... were sourced separately from that.

I would say you have an equal chance of either failing, unless a bad batch of a certain part was shipped to one of those two places... Then you would have a mass failure.

Mine was india. no issues so far (knock on wood)
