Bryan Singer teases Apocalypse reveal in latest X-Men set photo http://www.flickeringmyth.com/2015/...calypse-reveal-in-latest-x-men-set-photo.html
Bryan Singer has taken to Instagram for his latest peek behind-the-scenes of the currently-in-production X-Men: Apocalypse, posting the following image with the caption “Today! #Xmen #apocalypse awakens”…So, might we get our first look at Oscar Isaac’s villain today? There is of course the possibility that Singer is simply announcing that the actor is on set, so maybe we shouldn’t get our hopes up too much…X-Men: Apocalypse is set for release on May 19th, 2016 in the UK and May 27th, 2016 in the States, with Bryan Singer directing a cast that includes X-Men veterans James McAvoy (Professor X), Michael Fassbender (Magneto), Jennifer Lawrence (Mystique), Nicholas Hoult (Beast), Evan Peters (Quicksilver), Rose Byrne (Moira MacTaggert) and Lucas Till (Havok) along with newcomers Oscar Isaac (Star Wars: The Force Awakens) as Apocalypse, Sophie Turner (Game of Thrones) as Jean Grey, Tye Sheridan (Mud) as Cyclops, Alexandra Shipp (House of Anubis) as Storm, Kodi Smit-McPhee (Dawn of the Planet of the Apes) as Nightcrawler, Ben Hardy (EastEnders) as Angel, Olivia Munn (Magic Mike) as Psylocke and newcomer Lana Condor as Jubilee.

Olivia Munn Reveals She "Popped the Crotch" in Her Latex Psylocke Costume for X-Men: Apocalypse—Watch Now! http://www.eonline.com/news/675414/...ylocke-costume-for-x-men-apocalypse-watch-now
Olivia Munn is every fanboy's dream.During San Diego Comic-Con Saturday, the actress and five of her X-Men: Apocalypse co-stars—Michael Fassbender, Nicholas Hoult, Oscar Isaac, James McAvoy and Evan Peters—appeared on TBS' Conan. In the movie, Munn plays psychic ninja Betsy Braddock, a.k.a. Psylocke. The comic book character wears a very risqué costume, and Munn will be wearing the same costume onscreen. The only difference between fantasy and reality is the size of Munn's boobs. "I come in through the deficit with that part. But the costume is exactly like that, just a lot less here and here," she said, pointing to her breasts. "I'm sorry."There's a lot of lubrication involved in getting you into the costume," McAvoy said. Munn laughed and replied, "That is true, James, and thank you for knowing that."Someone needs to help," McAvoy added."They lube me down and I step into this latex [costume]," the actress said of what it takes to get into character as Psylocke. "We did a whole latex fitting."

First Look At Oscar Isaac’s X-Men: Apocalypse Villain......
‘X-Men: Apocalypse’ has finally unveiled its titular villain… and the epic Marvel bad guy looks just as awesome as we hoped.During San Diego Comic Con, director Bryan Singer revealed Apocalypse’s cool new look… with a rather impressive poster that was handed out to guests. Depicting Oscar Isaac’s villain, the shadow of Apocalypse looms over the burning remains of Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters. Rather ominous… and it sets the tone for what’s likely to be the most destructive ‘X-Men’ movie yet.But that’s not all – he’s also appeared on screen during some all-new footage…Unfortunately, 20th Century Fox is yet to reveal their ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’ footage online, so it looks as though we may have a bit of a wait before we see Apocalypse in all his glory. But lucky Comic Con guests at the Hall H panel got their first look at the epic villain. And it seems they were impressed.“We got to see Oscar Isacc as Apocalypse and he looks exactly like in the comics,” said Edward Douglas from Coming Soon. “Apocalypse can control other mutants and we see a scene where the X-Men are facing [him].”Apparently, Apocalypse is sporting those classic blue lips with cables connecting from his main body to his arms. “He looks JUST LIKE in the comics,” said Douglas. “Exactly like in the comics.”

‘X-Men: Apocalypse’: Watch the Leaked Trailer That Wowed Comic-Con http://www.thedailybeast.com/articl...-the-leaked-trailer-that-wowed-comic-con.html
Fox unveiled a 3-minute trailer for next year’s superhero extravaganza ‘X-Men: Apocalypse,’ filled with juicy material. Check it out for yourself here.To the surprise of many, it wasn’t the Star Wars: The Force Awakens panel or the Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice one—featuring the first post-divorce appearance by Batfleck—that wowed geek audiences the most at this past weekend’s Comic-Con, but the Fox panel.First, it brought the cosplaying crowds the kickass trailer for Deadpool, featuring plenty of R-rated violence, cursing, and wisecracking courtesy of Ryan Reynolds. Then, Fox trotted out the entire cast of its blockbuster superhero flick X-Men: Apocalypse, due in theaters May 27, 2016—including Channing Tatum, who will presumably make a cameo as the Cajun cardslinger Gambit.Flanking director Bryan Singer and writer/producer Simon Kinberg was Hugh Jackman (Wolverine), James McAvoy (Professor X), Michael Fassbender (Magneto), Jennifer Lawrence (Mystique), Nicholas Hoult (Beast), Lucas Till (Havoc), and Evan Peters (Quicksilver) from the previous films. They were joined by newcomers Lana Condor (Jubilee), Kodi Smit-McPhee (Nightcrawler), Tye Sheridan (Cyclops), Sophie Turner (Jean Grey), Olivia Munn (Psylocke), Ben Hardy (Angel), Storm (Alexandra Shipp), and Oscar Isaac (Apocalypse).

X-Men’s Apocalypse Looks Uncannily Like a Power Rangers Baddie http://news.yahoo.com/x-mens-apocalypse-looks-uncannily-like-a-power-101306294.html
When 20th Century Fox released the first official images (to Entertainment Weekly) of Oscar Isaac as Apocalypse, titular mutant super-villain of next year’s eagerly anticipated ‘X-Men: Apocalypse,’ they might not have anticipated quite this response.Cyberspace has been awash with comments on how uncannily similar this live action take on the classic ‘X-Men’ character is to that of a certain other villain from an earlier 20th Century Fox superhero movie - Ivan Ooze, central bad guy of 1995?s ‘Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie.’Ooze, portrayed by esteemed British actor Paul Freeman (’Raiders of the Lost Ark,’ ‘Hot Fuzz’), was a similarly purple-hued, reptilian-featured baddie who battled the Power Rangers with magic slime and corny one-liners in the big screen spin-off of the much-loved TV action adventure series.

‘X-Men’ fans flip out over Apocalypse’s look, learned nothing from Quicksilver debacle https://www.yahoo.com/tv/s/x-men-fans-flip-over-193200481.html
I’ll be the first to admit Apocalypse looks like Ra from “StarGate” and a Power Rangers villain had a baby and then that baby grew up and had a kid of its own with Ronan the Accuser. But I’m also saying that’s not a bad thing.A good portion of the Internet disagrees. People are not happy. At all.

X-Men Apocalypse: First Encounter Between Villain & Professor X Revealed
Details of a pivotal scene in next year’s ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’ have been revealed, detailing the first meeting between titular villain Apocalypse and James McAvoy’s Professor X.The details come courtesy of Entertainment Weekly and their big reveal of the film following its debut at San Diego Comic Con earlier in the month.“The scene today takes place in 1983, a decade after the events of 'Days of Future Past’,” reads their report. “Raven (Jennifer Lawrence), Charles Xavier (James McAvoy), Hank McCoy (Nicholas Hoult), and Moira MacTaggert (Rose Byrne) have gathered inside the halls of supercomputer Cerebro, unaware that they’re about to meet their most dangerous enemy yet.

Bryan Singer Hints At X-Men/Fantastic Four Crossover (Exclusive)
Director Bryan Singer has said there are potentially plans for a Marvel crossover between the ‘X-Men’ and ‘Fantastic Four’.Speaking exclusively to Yahoo Movies for the home entertainment release of ‘X-Men: Days Of Future Past - The Rogue Cut’, Singer revealed that he’s been talking with the brain trust behind the upcoming ‘Four’ reboot about a way to bring together the two teams, corroborating a rumour that’s been floating around the Internet over the past month.“Those ideas are in play,” he says. “That would be a natural match-up because they’re both ensemble films and there is a natural mechanism by which to do it.”While Singer is coy about exactly how he plans to unite the two franchises, he offered up a little titbit.“It deals with time,” he says. “That’s all I’m going to say.”

You'll never guess who just showed up on the set of 'X-Men Apocalypse' https://www.yahoo.com/tv/s/youll-never-guess-just-showed-190900145.html
Way back in January, people were already asking Patrick Stewart is there were plans to revise his role as the older and wiser incarnation of Professor Xavier in “X-Men Apocalypse.” And by people, I mean Larry King.During an interview with King, Stewart demurred on the topic: t is going to be looking very much at the earlier lives of all our characters. o I don’t think we’ll (Stewart and Magneto actor Ian McKellen) be making an appearance. That seemed to be that. “Apocalypse” would focus on the younger mutants set up by the “Days of Future Past” universe, leaving Stewart and McKellen to ride off into the BFF Shakespearean sunset together. But then THIS happened:

Hugh Jackman Reaches Out To Fans Over Final Wolverine Movie http://news.yahoo.com/hugh-jackman-reaches-out-to-fans-over-final-090023152.html
As hard as it may be to believe, it seems Hugh Jackman’s days as Wolverine are almost over. We know, we know; just try to accept it.More than fifteen years since the original ‘X-Men,’ the role of the invulnerable Canadian mutant with the retractable claws has lifted the Australian actor from big screen obscurity to major movie star status, as well as seeing his physique develop to almost-literally superhuman levels. But now, having joked there are only so many egg white omelettes he can eat, the 46-year old actor has decided the time is right to step down, after he dons the claws and mutton chops one more time in a third and final ‘Wolverine’ solo movie. However, beyond the reunion of Jackman with James Mangold, director of 2013?s ‘The Wolverine,’ and the return in some capacity of Patrick Stewart as Charles Xavier, not a great deal is known for sure about what this last ‘Wolverine’ movie will entail. And it seems Jackman might be looking for some pointers as to what fans want to see from his last go around, as he has taken to Twitter with a cool teaser image to canvass fan opinion.

X-Men: Apocalypse Teases Archangel’s Metal Wings
Appearing on Instagram, Singer posted an image of himself clutching a metallic, feather-like object… and in the picture’s comment, seemed to confirm that it’s part of Archangel’s wings.“Playing air guitar #archangel #xmen #xmenapocalypse”Of course, Marvel fans will no doubt recall that Archangel’s metal wings were given to him by Apocalypse in the comic books… and were able to fire long, metal feathers as projectiles when the going got tough.Does this mean ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’ will give Archangel a similar power?Archangel will be played by ‘Eastenders’ actor Ben Hardy… and we’ve already seen some rather impressive concept art depicting the classic ‘X-Men’ character’s more technologically advanced look. And he already looks pretty awesome.

Hugh Jackman Promises ‘Berserker Rage’ In Wolverine 3
Hugh Jackman has been talking about his final appearance as mutant superhero Wolverine in 2017’s third solo ‘X-Men’ spin-off movie, even teasing a couple of potential details. The 46-year-old Aussie actor briefly touched on the new film during an interview on the Sydney Confidential podcast.“There were a lot of calls for Victor Creed to come back,” he said, referring to Wolverine’s long-time nemesis Sabretooth, who was the first character to clash with Jackman’s hero in the very first ‘X-Men’ film back in 2000.To date Sabretooth has been portrayed by Tyler Mane in that first film and by Live Schreiber in the first Wolverine spin-off in 2009 (which has been struck from history if you ask Fox).“I must admit I was quite heartened by a number of people saying please don’t make it the last,” Jackman continued, “But I’m really excited about this last one, and if you’re a comic book fan, then the words ‘berserker rage’ came up a lot, so if you know Wolverine, you’ll understand.”

I was excited to explore those worlds. There is something more mythical… basically, you’re playing God. It’s a challenge.”Of course, comic book fans already know the power of Apocalypse.Considered to be the ancestral source of the mutant gene, En Sabah Nur (or Apocalypse as he becomes known) is one of the most powerful mutants in history. Possessing numerous mutant abilities, he has further enhanced himself with Celestial technology… giving himself even greater power.

Why Stan Lee's X-Men: Apocalypse Cameo Will Be Better Than The Rest http://www.cinemablend.com/new/Why-Stan-Lee-X-Men-Apocalypse-Cameo-Better-Than-Rest-80567.html
In addition to being the co-creator of many of Marvel’s most famous heroes and villains, comic book legend Stan Lee has made a name for himself as a cameo master. Lee holds no shortage of enthusiasm for each role he plays, but something’s different about his brief appearance next year in X-Men: Apocalypse. This past July at San Diego Comic-Con, he revealed that this cameo will be unique compared to his previous ones, and now we know why: it involves someone he cares about.During his interview with Larry King (who he was mistaken for in Iron Man 2), Lee let it drop that his X-Men: Apocalypse cameo will have him sharing screen time with someone who means a lot to him. Lee said:

Extraordinary X-Men's First Big Villain Is Mister Sinister....He's big, he's bad, and he's got a Bedazzled forehead. http://ap.ign.com/news/92234/extraordinary-x-mens-first-big-villain-is-mister-s
With Extraordinary X-Men, by writer Jeff Lemire and artist Humberto Ramos, paving the way for the X-franchise at Marvel, it'll be the book to watch as it shapes the status quo for mutantkind going forward. We've seen the new team lineup -- team leader Storm, young Jean Grey in her Marvel Girl costume, a bearded Colossus, Nightcrawler, Iceman, Magick, and Old Man Logan -- but now it's time to reveal the first big villain the group will face with your first look at the cover to Extraordinary X-Men #4.Mister Sinister is genius as far as genetics are concerned. He's used his scientific prowess to enhance his own body so he can shape-shift, heal from fatal wounds, and use telepathy, among a great number of other weird things. He's also obsessed with the Summers family line and their unique genetics, which has led to many experiments and clones that have caused a lot of hardship for the X-Men.He was last seen in the Marvel Universe being thwarted by Spider-Man and some X-students, and then in Secret Wars on Battleworld as Baron Sinister where he all but cheated in a duel against Captain Britain. With a young Jean Grey on the Extraordinary X-Men team, it's not hard to imagine why he's made them his new target. But that's merely guesswork at this point. For some more solid information, we conducted an email interview with series writer Jeff Lemire about the big bad.
