Now its time to deal with my Cband/Wimax Internet interference. I have the Wimax about 20 feet away from the Cband dish, about 15 feet higher and pointed a bit west of the dish. Don't laugh at my picture.. But, i wanted to give you an idea of How things are orientated. The Wimax is on the roof edge. I was thinking i would move the Wimax about 40 feet south of the Cband dish. Would this make all the difference in the world? or is there better ideas?? -

I remember that problem you had from last year. Yes, I believe relocation and shielding (if needed) was the solution. Never experienced this so unsure of where the best spot for your Wimax would be but certainly hope you can find a location where they will both function for you. In case you need it, here is the link to shielding ideas that I posted back then. Good luck! :) http://www.satsig.net/satellite/reducing-interference-satellite-tv.htm

One problem is i have to have the Wimax dish HIGH to reach the antenna that is about 5 miles away over a hill. I need to figure out where i can put it south of the Cband, stay high, and I'm not sure putting up a physical barrier would be possible.

I also gotta figure out how i can rig up some sort of temporary pole or height so i can test it without actually planting it. I am on the fringe of Internet signal, so i have to play a dancing game with both.

Sounds like you have your work cut out for you. Never seen one. How big is the antenna? Weight?

Its small.. I would say its about 28 inch dish. Ill take a picture of it and upload it.. Too dark outside for now. Weight.. I cannot imagine more than 20lbs.

Since it's a dish I assume the signal is beamed directionally (not omnidirectionally)? If so, maybe mount the antenna on a rented/borrowed bucket truck or cherry picker and move it around your property until you find a height and location where the Wimax and c band dish both work.
