wireless adapter won't accept password

I got a new router and set everything up and it connected right on back up, about a week later I moved my computer and router and when I plugged it back up had to set everything back up of course everything worked laptop, phone, xbox when I put password back in!! The wireless adapter won't!! I have tried to put in key instead of password, resting adapter and hr24... Anyone got any other suggestions..??

Do you have enough ports open on the router?

Yes but the router is in another room.
