I'm working on wiring up a single receiver to my system, and was hoping for some advice/feedback/direction as I procede. I've done some reading, and "think" this will work, but I'm not so sure (especially afer my recent discovery).
I have a BUd with an actuator arm and a BSC-621 c/ku lnbf with internal diseqc. I want to move this with a moteck v-boxII. I also have a 36" dish on an SG2100 H-H mover with an Invacom QPH-031 quad lnbf (circular and linear lnbf). And finally, I have two stationary KU Linear lnbf dishes for a couple sats that are out of line-of-site for the 36" dish.
I read that the ecoda 0/22 switches with pass diseqc commands, so I plan on putting that near the receiver, and running the 0mhz side to the 36" dish's sg2100. From the 2100, I will connect to a diseqc and then connect to 2 legs of the invacom and both of the stationary dishes. The 22mhz leg of the ecoda will connect to the moteck and from there to the bsc-621 c/ku lnbf with internal diseqc.
My thoughts are that the ecoda should pass diseqc movement commands to the correct mover (sg2100 or moteck), and the diseqc swiches will then give me the desired lnbf.
The one finding that I've seen so far (still waiting on a couple parts to put this all together), is that when I send 0mhz tone to the ecoda, the sg2100 works fine, and I see my lnbfs past the 2100. BUT, when I send 22mhz tone, the SG2100 still works! (can't seen the lnbfs though). Should the ecoda be passing the diseqc positioning commands to the sg2100 eventhough its on the 0mhz side? Is this happening because the 0/22mhz tone is sent after the diseqc positioning commands?
Any thoughs/advice/etc concerning this setup would be greatly apprecaited.
