DISH Network is currently in contract negotiations with the new owner of the local FOX station in Evansville, IN. Unfortunately for DISH Network customers, the new owner has demanded an outrageous rate increase of almost 350%.

DISH Network has offered several proposals based on fair local market rates that would have immediately resolved this dispute. These proposals are fair and consistent with the thousands of other contracts we’ve successfully negotiated with local broadcast stations. Communications Corporation has refused our offers and continues to demand an outrageous rate increase.

Any word on where this is? Is it worth the effort to contact Dish and request a discount since we aren't getting this programming?

I think they are owned by nexstar brodcasting. In Fort Wayne area Dish has not reached a deal with Granite that own's WPTA 21, WISE 33.
