As of yesterday when I go to the SG web site XInfinity pops up a warning screen and sends me an email stating that I'm visiting a disreputable web site. Anyone else getting this message?

Nope, all good here. You didn't by any chance use an old http (without the s) link or bookmark?

Using same link as always with https. The message is specific to the web site not to the link. It still lets me go to SG, just pops up a full screen warning and sends an email.

I suggest running your favorite malware scanner just to be safe. If you don't have a favorite, I suggest Malwarebytes free edition.

I have experienced a couple of ads in the last ten days or so that pop up dire warning pages about something horrible happening with Windows but those are usually harmless if you don't chase them down the rabbit hole.

You say they send you an email, would you mind posting that email?

I contacted Comcast and they had no clue what I was talking about.

In addition I am on Comcast myself with no issues.

I already deleted the last one. The message and email have occurred the first time the site is accessed on the last two days. If it happens tomorrow I will post the email.

Consider rebooting your computer to simulate a "first time" visit.

Or simply restoring the deleted message from your email's Trash. It's really rare for any email to do a "permanent delete" when you just do a simple delete. They normal go into a Trash Bin, and sit there for like 30 days or so before they auto-delete.

I empty my trash fairly frequently due to limited disk space. Couldn't find a screen shot in my browser history.

Maybe they think we are Deplorable's? :biggrin

I have attached a copy of the screen that pops up. I haven't received an email yet.

Well I called the number shown and was told the message is that they are trying to contact you about their Acceptable Use Policy.

Since I wasn't you or don't know your name or account number they couldn't tell me why you were seeing it, but they mainly deal with this like people downloading movies using Kodi or Torrents. Or it could be going over your bandwidth limit. Or they could be detecting you are running servers on a consumer account.

They did say that if you don't call you will start seeing the message more and more frequently, until the point that they can disable your account.

They also said you can click on the link in the email they send as well.

But again not knowing your account they couldn't tell me exactly why you are getting the message, but I was assured it had nothing to do with the website. :) (Phew!)

Hope this helps.

The only time I see this message is when I visit Satellite Guys so I don't see how it could be any of the things you mention. I'm still waiting on the email. I'll give them a call today.
