My guess is that's why they got rid of the music apps the WHMA is going to replace them in the near future.I doubt the whole home music app is being worked on, while they are removing a bunch of apps.
I think you are hearing wrong... or someone is telling you what you want to hear so you stop bugging them.
I am told neither are in testing.
I wish Dish would set up the Hopper, so we could just download any app from Google Play like we do with our cell phones.
The Hopper OS (which is a flavor of unix) was around long before Android.
