I Just Went To Zap2it.com And They List Encore HD On Channel 271

they have it as just a mirror of encore,i thought it would be different programming

Just like Starz, it will mirror the content on the normal Encore channel, with only a minority of content in true HD, at least to start. Over time, more and more of schedule will be offered in HD.
