Hi All,

Was wondering when ZNS left 87w.
Moved to 87w to do an updated scan and noticed it was gone.
Is it elsewhere or did it leave satellite altogether ?

I don't recall exactly when they left but it has been a few years. I searched and the last reference I see on Lyngsat to it still being there is from late 2017. The next captures they have are from late 2018 so during that time frame it must have left.

FTA4PA,

I could swear I saw it on 87w less than 6 months ago.
Oh well…
Thanks for your response..

John
I think the reality is in between... It's definitely been there more recently than late 2017, but if I remember correctly it had moved transponder. Maybe it was even gone for a while before coming back.

I'm not sure how long it's been gone but I'd say at least 1 year

It left on 1/1/23

So it was actually back for a while and I did not know it. Sorry for the erroneous info John. My largest dish is motorized but is currently parked at 101w with another stationary at 58w. As such, I have not blind scanning much c band so just went by older info on the Lyngsat site. Thanks for the update guys! ;)

FTA4PA,

LEEHRAT proved that I wasn’t going crazy….whew!!!
I didn’t think a year went by since ZNS left satellite.
