Last & Next Movie Watched

Last: Starship Troopers UK (It amazes me how good the special effects are in this movie. Stand up very well to today's stuff)
Next: Probalby Sweeney Todd and then the US release of starship troopers (gotta test out the TrueHD vs the PCM on the UK release)

Last: Harold and Kumar Guantanamo Bay (If anyone else watches this and gets the full DTS MA audio, let us know if you get audio pops. I got them on my PS3, have not checked on the S350 yet)
next: probably same movie on S350

I got audio pops on my PS3 last night as well, connecting to a Yamaha 663. I've only had the receiver for a month but it's the first time it's happened. (It didn't happen during Bank Job, which also had 7.1 DTS-MA audio).

A lot of others are reporting this as well for Harold & Kumar and it doesn't seem to matter if you're bitstreaming or set to LPCM in a PS3

One solution for Ps3 owners is to turn off 7.1 in the PS3 and just go with the 5.1 downmix: http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?p=14416660&highlight=full+dts+ma+decoding#post14416660

Next movie: Semi Pro or In Bruges

Have not ordered mine, lemme know what you think.
here's what I posted over at AVS

Got my copy of ST1 US release today and compared it against my UK import.

I did notice the audio sync issues on the US release, but if I didn't consciously stare at the mouth's it wasn't a big deal, but in the beginning there are quite a few close up scenes of people talking so it's hard not to notice it.

That's about it. I find myself liking the UK release better as the surrounds are not overwhelming eventhough I like the rumble/feel of the US release better.
