LMAO!! WHO CARES??!! I mean whether he took it one year or 10 years...whether he took it in 2003 or 1993....he is dirty...period. He ADMITTED he took it and apologized.....period. Let's just move on. Did ANYONE REALLY THINK he was gonna tell 'the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth?!' ....

Now is it going to be that every time he says something....we have to send some investigator to see if the story has any validity?

No, but that probably would have been the right thing to do. It would end most if not all of this type of crap from happening.

I still can't believe that the high-priced advisers and consultants he hired came up with the story they did. Why add all of the nonsensical details that can apparently be easily enough investigated???

A-Rod is now a proven idiot. He has continued to lie and put himself in the "Gary Hart" position. When you basically dare reporters to investigate you in some aspect it rarely turns out for the good. I still don't think he has any legal worries and that makes his lies even more astonishing. The more lies he gets caught in the deeper the hole he is digging for his own Hall of Fame burial. He is almost put himself in the position where nobody will believe he only took PED for that short time and only during that time. He could have stopped this by just being forthright. If I was a Yankee's fan (Thank God I was born without that burden <BG>) I would be more pissed off of what he is putting my team through than anything else.

Baseball is NOT about A-ROD....or steroids. You STILL need to have skills that steroids or ANY OTHER PEDs could NEVER, EVER give you. Hitting a baseball is STILL THE HARDEST THING to do in sports....PERIOD! The turning of a double play is STILL one of the coolist plays in sports. When I see a guy go 5 for 5, I do not think steroids....hell, when I see a guy hit a couplf of homers...I don't think steroids....my mind does not think STEROIDS.

Baseball has survived the "dead ball", "Black Sox", racism and a couple of strikes....it will easily survive this.....;)

Let ESPN do it. .I don't want my friend to lose his job and I don't want to lose mine either because I don't know what ESPN will report. He didn't admit it. He got caught. He kind of stated it was true but he has lied about it still. When you apologize, you are sincere. When you continue to lie you have not been sincere in your apology.

The problem is A-Rod. He could have stopped this dead in its tracks with the truth. His attitude, his continual lying, is what keeps this story going. It is nobody's fault but his own for allowing this to continue.

Yes, baseball will survive this but when baseball's Golden Boy takes this type of whuppin, it hurts the game. Nobody likes a cheater!!!!

By the way, I am happy the Braves did not sign Burnett, Griffey, and Furcal. I still wish they would go after Manny.

Nice try at what? What do you want ? An exclusive? I'm not going to give it to you. I do know that ESPN has more . If you don't believe me I don't care. More came out this week about what a liar Arod is. Again, You hear things when you do certain types of work.

Again, I don't work for MLB. I have nothing to do with it. So if you want to believe Arod and his version go ahead. It's not true. Go ahead and believe his cousin story . Good luck with that.

I'm in control of who reports it? Give me a break. I don't know who will break a story. WEEI in Boston reported over a week ago that both are sitting on another story about Arod.

Again. I heard about Arod back in 2004 . I heard about Clemens way before that.

Here's a story: Eventually, the weather is going to change. When someone reports it, I'll post, "See, I told you so!"

I've never looked into this, but I think most forums have an "ignore" feature that precludes posts from selected members from even appearing on the page. I don't need to use it, but
others here may benefit from doing so.

On the other hand, if I'm already on their "ignore" lists, they won't get to read this suggestion.
