Iverson rumored trade to the Pistons!

Why would I be jealous? I already know Sandra has a boyfriend; besides, I have some bitterness and hatred for the Rangers, and I can be an emotional person, so that would ruin that possibility.

She has a boyfriend. :river:(

Back in November you predicted nothing would change with Billups leaving because they still had a hard nosed defense. You compared it to losing Ben Wallace, which didn't bother them at all.

Now you come on and act like you knew all along this collapse would happen. That's just not right.

It's OK to admit you were wrong...I do it all the time. I do have the benefit of being wrong a lot, but I think even you can admit the directions taken by the two teams is not what you predicted back when the trade was made. You talked about adding an MVP, this is the best team Iverson has been on, yadda, yadda, yadda.

I know the trade was also made to clear cap room, but you were not amongst us who said cap room or no cap room Iverson would hurt the Pistons this year. No MVP this year I'm afraid.

You can say that, can't you? It's easy...I was wrong. It doesn't need to turn into a thread where you respond 100 times with lots of THESE and lots of   .

Admit you were wrong, and we can move onto the really important stuff like the woman who broke into A-Rod's house, then didn't.

Sandra

I had to go along way to find this.

Iverson finally blew up in Detroit. He claims that he will retire rather than come off the bench. Well he can retire for the last 10 games (or less) that we have left. He was upset over the 18 minutes of playing time he got the other night. That's nice. I was upset over the stinking 1-8 shooting performance he gave! We are 2 games from being out of the playoffs, and I for one am hoping they miss. I would rather have a lottery pick then be first round fodder for Cleveland. Besides I want Iverson to save that aching back for whoever is stupid enough to sign him next season. He has disappointed me the whole second half of the season, and I have no tolerance for players who put themselves in front of the team.

You know, AI - you might have got more minutes that night if you could just put the ball in the hole!

Anyhow the reason for pulling up this dead thread, was to admit that AI's detractors were right. But not completely, he waited until the end of the season.

BYE, BYE AI.

You could have signed ME to play for the Pistons for a much cheaper price, and I could have helped the Pistons instead of hurting them.

Ok, I am small enough man to admit that I was completely, totally, and 100% accurate about Allen Iverson and his negative contribution to the Detroit Pistons this season. Personally, I would have AI pack his bags and send him home the remainder of the season.:)

Additionally, I don't see why the team had to flounder this season and finish under .500 without Billups because of some "Salary Cap" bullcrap. The Red Wings apparently have no problem winning, reloading their talent pool, and staying under the salary cap each and every season. I just don't buy into trading your diamond player for hunk of smelly coal under this "Salary Cap" nonsense.

I just saw another article about the Red Wings how someone told them that they would take LESS money to stay with the team.
It was just a day or two ago, but I don't remember who it was, Franzen maybe ?

Personally, Allen's attitude has not been a distraction....his absolutely terrible play has. ALSO throw in the fact that Curry is clueless and the team has gotten old ALOT faster than everyone expected....and you have the perfect recipe for a disaster......a.i. ...uh....i.e....200-8-2009 season.
