Iverson rumored trade to the Pistons!

Oops, the little groundhog who said THIS back in November...

...didn't quite predict the winter correctly...

But there was a silly girl who got one right for a change. :)

It's just such a shame I was sooooo right about the Rangers too.

Sandra

I don't think they will miss Billups as much as people think because you have players AND leaders on that team. The same was said when Ben Wallace left....he was 'the cornerstone of the defense'.....yeah, right. Made the Bulls instant contenders didn't it? Look, the foundation is still in place of the type of team the Pistons are....hard nosed defense....and neither Allen Iverson coming or Chaunsey Billups leaving will change that.

You OBVIOUSLY continue to miss the concept of this trade. They wanted to make a move and the ONLY GUY that had legit value was Billups...that's it, end of story. They took a gamble that would hopefully spark a move...all it has done was make the team older real fast. EVEN if Billups was still here, the team would have STILL been old and there is no way they were gonna stop the Cavs from having their amazing start. Do YOU honestly think that IF Billups was there, they would have been within 5 or 6 games of the Cavs??!! LMAO! :haha:haha

My statement above, if you read it c-a-r-e-f-u-l-l-y states that the foundation of a typical "hard nosed" defensive team was still there, whether Iverson OR Billups was there or not. NOWHERE in that statement does it say anything about predicting how they would do.

As far as the comment of "this silly girl"...you made it, not me....

I agree :up Mr. Post Whore :D
It's a shame the condition this team is in now. not so long ago they were great to watch. a few bad moves contributed to this decline which include coaching changes, having rick hamilton come off the bench,a trade that did not work and of course age. you can't get around that last one. rebuilding time seems to be in order for the pistons now.

Back in November you predicted nothing would change with Billups leaving because they still had a hard nosed defense. You compared it to losing Ben Wallace, which didn't bother them at all.

Now you come on and act like you knew all along this collapse would happen. That's just not right.

It's OK to admit you were wrong...I do it all the time. I do have the benefit of being wrong a lot, but I think even you can admit the directions taken by the two teams is not what you predicted back when the trade was made. You talked about adding an MVP, this is the best team Iverson has been on, yadda, yadda, yadda.

I know the trade was also made to clear cap room, but you were not amongst us who said cap room or no cap room Iverson would hurt the Pistons this year. No MVP this year I'm afraid.

You can say that, can't you? It's easy...I was wrong. It doesn't need to turn into a thread where you respond 100 times with lots of THESE and lots of   .

Admit you were wrong, and we can move onto the really important stuff like the woman who broke into A-Rod's house, then didn't.

CHRIST IN HEAVEN....READ THE F**KING STATEMENT AGAIN...does the phrase "I predict" ANYWHERE??!! Does it? Hello? Anyone home?? The only statement I made was that I think Iverson is better all around player that Billups. There was no predictions....the was no statements of who was gonna have a better won-loss records. My MAIN statement was that the Pistons wanted to make a change and the ONLY GUY of any major value was Billups...I said, I have stuck by it and comparing to how the rest of the Pistons have played...I WAS RIGHT. And I didn't predict the collapse either....but I KNEW that either way....whether Billups was there or not, the starting 5 was getting old quick....it just came quicker than everyone expected.

The issue is because the Pistons are realing and Iverson made his selfish statement...you want me to suddenly admit to something I did not say...because, as usual....you NEED to say the last word...:rolleyes:

....yes, sir....Sandra at your best.....:up:up:up

OK sorry, I thought you would admit it and would respond without yelling and these   ...I was wrong. See, I can say it...;)

Now you're cursing too. Awesome.

Sandra, Sandra, Sandra....my dear sweet Sandra. Just read baby...that is all, not knee-jerk because you have/need something to prove or some chip on that beautiful shoulder of yours. Please, I am begging you...find the phrase "I predict" anywhere in my statements on this thread and you will get a "I was wrong" gladly and easily...

And I forgot how original, making mentions of other statements from other threads that have NOTHING to do with this...didn't you get slapped in the hand for the same thing not to long ago by Ice??!! ;) Hmmmm.......

Hmm..... I like this tone more.....I will from now on....I will use it this way.....

That was what you said in THIS thread and has everything to do with this...you can only revise history so much.

Sandra

WHERE in GOD's name do I mention A-Rod in ANYTHING that has to do with the Iverson trade??!!:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

The ONLY reason I mentioned because you pulled it out of your...ah....ears and needed to add this for NO APPARENT REASON.....

What I said about A-Rod was a joke. I mean what you said about Iverson was in this thread.

Sandra

No...it was your usual 'I am gonna have the last word' MO....which of course, you got spanked for like the last time....but apparently, you forgot that one....how convenient...;)

No, it was meant as a joke. Even you can't tell me what I meant by something I put in a post. Lets see if you can leave it at that and not try to get the last word in.

Sandra

I love this "long distance" romance those two are having.:D
That's true, you could almost cut the tension with a knife when they're going at it. ;)

Sometimes, displays of hostility are used to hide secret attraction, or to deflect true but inconvenient romantic feelings.

Hmm....
