D12 satellite - now we're receiving signals!

You'll note that the link mentions that "most" of the TLEs are computed by USSPACECOM. Others come from other sources.

In one of the threads at DBSTalk, it is pointed out that USSPACECOM collects information from sources willing to provide it as I've suggested.

Do you have any idea what Sixto's background is or do you cling to his information because he seldom says anything that might harsh the buzz?

Now the only question is whether or not they are going to pursue a grant to attempt repairs on D10. This would seem to be a "now or never" kind of opportunity.

Satelliteracer indicates that DIRECTV will add five national HD channels next week.

They extrapolate satellite position by the latest TLE. Instead of saying where it was, they say where it might be! When they update to the latest TLE, it will show D12 at 102.8, or thereabouts.

Transponder 10 is a bit worrysome, but I'm sure DirecTv is still tinkering.
