Twins won, Tigers about to win, not to see if the Sox can get a sweep in Seattle and maintain their 3 1/2 game lead. Facing a tough pictcher in Hernandez, these are the kinds of games that good teams find a way to win.

God you're like a broken record with the sucking on the road. Give it up already, we all agree with you.
First, my name is not God...although I thank you for such favorable consideration. The bottom line is the team will continue to struggle until they address serious leadership issues on the team. As much as I like Damon he is not getting the job done in the cliubhouse. Same thing goes for the coaching staff. The trade deadline is only days away.

White Sox don't play the Indians again until August 30th, so who know who'll be hot then.

With Jenks blowing 2 saves in a row, time to give the ball to Thorton, Putz, & Santos at the end of games. No need to panic though, win 2 of 3 on Oakland and it's still a .500 road trip.

Boesch got a rest. He's pressing too much, trying to kill the first pitch he sees.

Verlander was shaking as all hell, but came around, not sure if he got the win or not.

Valverde was lights out, which was great to see after last night, when the wheels almost fell off.

WEEI's Dennis and Callahan to be simulcast live on NESN

Don't look now, but Steve Lavin is making St. John's relevant again
