2010-11 NFL Season

So, if the Steelers win next week and keep the # 2 spot, I'm guessing they would play one of those three as well in week 2 ?

Here's the seedings going into week 17:

1. Patriots (BYE)
2. Steelers (BYE)
3. Chiefs
4. Colts
5. Ravens
6. Jets

For the sake of this discussion, let's say it remains the same after week 17. The Chiefs would host the Jets, and the Colts would host the Ravens on Wildcard Weekend.

IF the Chiefs beat the Jets they would go to Pittsburgh, and the winner of Ravens/Colts would go to NE.

and yet the Vikes are part of "weirdness in the NFL" ;)

3 weeks in a row

so what the hell will happen next week in Detroit?
Detroit shuts us out? (doubt it)
Vikes actually win (hope so)
Detroit snaps Farves arm so he cant come back ever (oh please)

I'll go with bomb scare at Ford Field...

Well....I think I am gonna stop going to Raiders games in Oakland because I am oh-for-4 the last 2 years in Oakland and 3-and-oh on the road(win in Tampa, in Miami and a win in Pittsburgh).

That team is still very young and timely penalties and a crafty veteran likely Manning did them in. Manning used the young Raiders aggression against them all day....the play of the day was the terrible PI for approximately 30 yards that lead to an easy TD.... It was 3rd & long to boot. Oh well, they well learn.

So I need to root for the Jets, the same team that BEAT us last week ?

I would love to see a Steeler's / Raven's playoff game.
Win or Lose, they'll leave it all on the field !

Yes they are ... imagine if they could ever have thier STARTING QB for a year or two !

I picked them to win 6 games, with Stafford...

Who would have thought they could WIN 3 games in a row ?
With 2 on the ROAD :up

They're going to beat the Vikings next Sunday to finish out of the cellar. Could have had 9-10 wins this year. I expect the playoffs next season. Mayhew has assembled a nice team here with some depth. I guess he really did have the answers, and MILLEN wasn't listening.

As usual, his EGO got in the way of success for the Lions for the duration of the Millen ERROR.

Have you noticed that Millen did NOT get another GM job !

Yes, it's very possible that they beat the Vikes and win 4 in a row, then next year FORGET what they were doing, (WAKE UP) and start the losing all over again.... I hope not though.

Man, the NFL is getting down right BAD ....
While watching the MNF game tonight, with no rooting interests mind you ....

The Saints get a 15 yard Late hit in thier favor when Ryan scrambles and slides and the guy hit him and got called for 15. Mind you, in the NFL, you HAVE to be TOUCHED in order to be down.
Then, on the same drive :

They get another break when a holding call gets missed due to a Personal foul (offsetting of course) for a hit to the QB's head.

After they show it again, the defender's hand hit Ryans shoulder pad, no where close to hitting the head.

They all need to get thier glasses checked.

Once a QB slides, he is automatically down without contact.

How about that Tim Tebow? Did you see that rally at the end by him leading the team to victory over the Texans including that vintage tebow TD rush?

It was a nice rally, however, I still don't seem him as an NFL QB. His running will get him hurt too often. Also Defenders are much quicker and smarter than what he faced in college.

Tebow will be sold as the off-season 'starter' for the Broncos, because if nothing else, he sells like nobody else in the NFL.
