there is a bowl game tonight. Cotton Bowl between LSU and Texas A&M.

One thing to keep an eye on- LSU is lousy in bowl games outdoors, but is close to unbeatable in indoor bowl games.

The point still stands, though, that had TCU played a Big Ten schedule they may not have made it to the Rose Bowl to begin with. An SEC schedule? No chance.

Me thinks Jerry is trying to push for the Cotton to become a BCS bowl. FOX certainly made it seem as one last night. I tend to agree with Jerry. Great venue, traditional New Years day bowl with a lot of history, and a pretty damn nice looking trophy with the longhorn steer horns holding that football. Will look sweet in that huge trophy case in Baton Rouge!
