I'm trying now 0920 in Virginia. Typing 02468 and nothing happening.

Your gonna get the National Release 99 % of the time.
What recvr are you trying to work with ?

Your best bet is to watch here: DirecTV Firmware Watcher
Though I've found that the firmware with the new guide is usually in the stream between 12-4am pacific time Monday thru Friday.
I downloaded it this morning at 6:40am eastern time.

Yup, it's there now as well for alot of recvrs.
